Old Eyesore just gets better and better. I think he looks cocky in that rugged, attractive, Afghan hound (thanks Monty!) kinda way that makes men of my ilk go mmmmmm.
But back to the song. It's powerfully delivered and it makes your believe that he is putting his heart and soul into the performance and that is key with any ballad and something that some performers in this contest miss... your connection. As I have said all along, you have to connect with the audience with both your eyes and the song and he certainly does that.
There is a very long note which makes you go "damn" in the way that Jonsi did all those years ago... I have that same feeling now than I did then - hopefully the result will be better(er)!!
