It now looks like Aliona is singing in a placenta as well - however hers changes colours and rises like a pool of lava so it looks like she is 10 foot tall.
My issue with this is "Why are they doing that??" - I grant you it looks dramatic, but surely it shows that the song is perceived by TVM as weak if they have to resort to gimicky dresses whereas, in reality, if she just sung the song on stage with limited choreography it would still stand up to scrutiny as a good song, as opposed to a song with "that" Dress.
Vocally, she seems good and spot on - so no worries about cringing there - apart from with the dress and the staging which, as said above, worries me.
